TIMES MUSIC releases the Music of MR. PRIME MINISTER

The Music Sound Track of Evergreen Film Star DEV ANAND’S most ambitious venture MR. PRIME MINISTER was launched with much fanfare at a glittering function held at Adlabs Films Ltd, in Film City, Mumbai, India. The event, held on Tuesday, October 25, 2005, was well attended by Dev Saheb’s friends and well wishers from the Film fraternity, the Cast, and the Media. The guests included Mr. Manmohan Shetty, Chairman Adlabs Films Ltd, Mr. T. Suresh, CEO Times Music, Bhappi Lahiri, leading lady Tara Sharma, Prem Chopra, Shahbaaz Khan, Anjan Srivastava, Khursheed Khurody, models Deepa Chari, Namrata Rai, Bappa Lahiri Razzak Khan, singer Babul Supriyo, Darshan Dave, and many others. Suneil Anand played the perfect host while DEV was the perpetual center of attention. Manmohan Shetty unveiled the CDs and Cassettes of MR. PRIME MINISTER which were released on TIMES MUSIC’s label. This was followed by a screening--for everyone--of the Music Videos of the Hindi and English Rap Songs “Mr. Prime Minister” that have been written and sung by DEV himself. Incidentally, DEV completes 60 Years of playing a leading man in Indian cinema in October this year.

DEV ANAND plays the central character in MR. PRIME MINISTER. Others in the cast include Tara Sharma, Dev Gill (Young Male Lead), Milind Gunaji, Anjan Srivastava, Mohan Joshi, Anant Jog, Khursheed Khurody, Shahbaaz Khan, Prem Chopra, and new find Sofiya. MR. PRIME MINISTER is the story of a philanthropic Non Resident Indian earthquake survivor who rises from nothingness to vie for Prime Ministership of the World’s largest democracy—India. The film has been shot on the earthquake ravaged locations of Bhachau, Adhoi, and Anjaar in Kutch (India), and also in Naples, Pompei, and Pozzuoli in Italy as well as in London. The film with Dolby Digital EX sound is slated to be released soon world-wide.
